Specialized Expands Tarmac SL9 Line with New Models

Specialized has expanded its Tarmac SL9 lineup by introducing the S-Level, Expert, and Comp models, all built on a more affordable 10r carbon frame.

The S-Level Tarmac SL9 features high-end components and is priced at $10,000 and $10,500, while the Expert and Comp models range from $4,000 to $7,000. Each model maintains the same aerodynamic frame design as the S-Works version, with the S-Level offering a competitive weight of 882 grams.

While the S-Level uses premium components like SRAM RED or Shimano Dura Ace, the Expert and Comp models utilize heavier, lower-quality parts. The Expert build weighs 16.64 pounds, and the Comp build weighs 17.95 pounds. Notably, the SL9 10r frameset is not available for separate purchase, as the bikes are sold only as complete builds.
