Spencer Arrighetti Diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma

The Toronto Blue Jays have received an update regarding Spencer Arrighetti's foot injury, revealing that he has been diagnosed with Morton's neuroma.

This condition, which involves a damaged or enlarged nerve, leads to pain in the bottom of the foot. Manager John Schneider indicated that it can create a sensation similar to having a rock in one's shoe. Despite this diagnosis, the team is optimistic that Arrighetti can continue to pitch while undergoing treatment.

Arrighetti, who was acquired from the Houston Astros, has not yet pitched for the Blue Jays since the trade. His last appearance was on July 24 against the Chicago White Sox, where he pitched only one inning before being removed due to injury. He has a season ERA of 4.60 and has made 17 starts this year.
