Spurs Make Roster Adjustments Ahead of 2026/27 Season

The San Antonio Spurs have made several roster changes in preparation for the 2026/27 NBA season. They have waived players Taelon Peter, Malik Williams, and Terry Taylor, who was signed to a non-guaranteed training camp deal earlier in the day.

These decisions follow the recent waiver of RJ Davis, who was also on a training camp contract. Peter had joined the team on an Exhibit 10 contract in early October, while Williams was added in late September. All three players could potentially earn a bonus of up to $91,000 if they spend at least 60 days with the Austin Spurs, the team's G League affiliate.
