St Kilda's Callum Wilkie Reacts to Rowan Marshall's Trade to Geelong

During a live appearance at the Cox Plate, St Kilda co-skipper Callum Wilkie reacted with disbelief upon learning that teammate Rowan Marshall had been traded to Geelong.

Marshall was exchanged for Geelong's Pick 14 along with a 2028 third-round pick, which St Kilda had been seeking. Wilkie congratulated Marshall, noting that he had been a valuable player for the club over the past decade.

Marshall had previously boycotted the club's Trevor Barker Awards event, signaling his desire to leave. Meanwhile, St Kilda is also negotiating a deal for Brisbane's Sam Marshall and is interested in Sydney's Nick Blakey, who is attracting attention from multiple clubs.
