Steelers Add Wide Receiver Jakobie Kenney-James to Roster
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced the signing of wide receiver Jakobie Kenney-James on Tuesday.
This move follows the team's decision to waive Cole Burgess, who was placed on the injury list due to a lower-body injury sustained earlier in the week.
Kenney-James previously worked out with the Steelers last week. He began his professional career with the Lions as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 draft and later joined the Packers, where he was on the practice squad before being promoted to the active roster for a game against Minnesota. In college, he played at the University of Massachusetts, recording 40 receptions for 603 yards and five touchdowns in his final season.
