Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike McCarthy has indicated that the team and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. are currently at an impasse in negotiations for a new contract. This situation arises as Porter has been placed on the physically unable to perform list due to a back issue that emerged during a mobility test at the start of training camp.
