Steelers Release Veteran Safety Rayshawn Jenkins

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the release of safety Rayshawn Jenkins, a veteran player who joined the team as a free agent earlier this offseason.

Jenkins participated in all six games for the Steelers, starting once and recording a total of 16 tackles while contributing on both defense and special teams.

Prior to his time with the Steelers, Jenkins played for several teams, including the Browns, Seahawks, Jaguars, and Chargers. His experience may attract interest from other teams needing a safety as the season progresses.
