Steely Green Earns Summer Train-On Spot with Richmond
Steely Green, a former forward for Richmond, has been granted a summer train-on spot with the team after being delisted at the conclusion of the 2026 season.
During his time with Richmond, Green played 20 games, scoring 16 goals and averaging 10.9 disposals and 2.2 tackles per match. Despite being cut from the squad, he has received another opportunity with the Tigers, as reported by AFL Media.
Green, who gained attention for surviving a lightning strike at age 14, was selected by Richmond with Pick 55 in the 2022 National Draft. Over his career, he scored 32 goals in 45 games. Richmond has made several changes to its roster, including the retirements and delistings of multiple players.
