Stephanie Vaquer Claims Women's World Title at WWE Live Event
Stephanie Vaquer won the WWE Women's World Championship during a live event in Chile on September 12, marking a rare title change at such an event.
In the match, Vaquer faced Liv Morgan, with Becky Lynch serving as the special guest referee. Morgan appeared to secure victory with her Oblivion move, but Lynch refused to count the pin, leading to a confrontation with Morgan. Vaquer capitalized on the distraction, delivering a superkick followed by her signature moves to pin Morgan.
This victory marks Vaquer's second reign as WWE Women's World Champion, having previously held the title for seven months before losing it to Morgan at WrestleMania 42 in April 2026. Following her win, Vaquer celebrated with the crowd and her colleagues, including Sol Ruca, IYO SKY, and Bayley, who shared a moment with the Chilean flag backstage. WWE has not yet announced if Morgan will receive a rematch for the title.
