Stephanie Vaquer Reveals Surgery During Time Away from WWE

WWE Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has disclosed that she underwent surgery during her recent absence from the ring. Following her title loss to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42, Vaquer took a break from television before reappearing on WWE Raw after SummerSlam.

In an interview translated by PWInsider, Vaquer explained that her time away was essential for her health. She described the challenges of recovering from surgery and not being able to train, calling it one of the hardest experiences of her life. Vaquer expressed that returning to the ring felt like a revival for her.

Vaquer reclaimed her title from Morgan in a match held in Santiago, Chile, where Becky Lynch acted as the special guest referee. Both Vaquer and Morgan are now focused on the championship title.
