Stephen Daley Returns to Indiana for Fifth Season

Indiana University has announced that defensive end Stephen Daley will return for a fifth season, providing a significant boost to their defense as they prepare to defend their national championship title.

This decision follows a ruling by a Colorado judge that allows the Class of 2022 to gain an additional year of eligibility under the NCAA's new 'five-for-five' rule. While there is uncertainty regarding potential NCAA appeals, Indiana is optimistic about Daley's return.

In the previous season, Daley recorded 38 tackles, including 19 for loss and 5.5 sacks, before an injury sidelined him during the Big Ten Championship. His absence was felt during the Hoosiers' championship run, but with his return, along with new transfers, Indiana aims to strengthen their defensive lineup for the upcoming season.
