Keim explained that he met Coulibaly in July and invested in a drop-shipping business alongside his family and friends. Initially, the business appeared to be successful, but as time progressed, payments to investors ceased, leading to significant financial losses. Keim described his frustration and efforts to confront Coulibaly about the situation, which he believes may have involved a Ponzi scheme.

Keim has cooperated with the FBI, stating he is not a suspect but rather a victim of the alleged scam.
