Stewart Cink Joins Three-Way Tie for Lead at Portugal Invitational
Stewart Cink achieved a remarkable 8-under-par 64 on Saturday, placing him in a three-way tie for the lead at the Portugal Invitational held at The Els Club Vilamoura in Algarve, Portugal.
Cink's performance included eagles on the par-5 third and par-4 12th holes, bringing his total to 13 under after two rounds. He is now tied with Padraig Harrington, who shot a 65, and Rory Sabatini, who finished with a 66.
First-round leader Zach Johnson fell to fourth place at 12 under after a round of 68. Tim O'Neal moved into a tie for fifth at 10 under with a bogey-free 66, alongside Mikael Lundberg. They are one stroke ahead of Y.E. Yang and Cameron Percy, both at 9 under. This event marks the inaugural PGA Tour Champions competition in Portugal.
