Sunderland Pursues Jack Grealish Loan from Manchester City

Sunderland is actively exploring a late bid for Jack Grealish, the 30-year-old winger from Manchester City. Grealish, who spent the last season on loan at Everton, is now in the final year of his contract.

The Black Cats are interested in securing Grealish on loan, but a permanent transfer is also being considered as they aim to enhance their options on the wing. In addition to Grealish, Sunderland is pursuing Igor Paixao from Marseille.

Grealish has recently been utilized as a substitute in Manchester City's matches, including their Community Shield loss to Arsenal and the Premier League opener against Bournemouth. City is currently facing a shortage of wide players due to recent transfers and injuries, which has intensified their need for additional signings.
