Sunderland's Brian Brobbey Expected to Return from Injury Soon
Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey may be back in action against Bournemouth next weekend following tests that indicated his hamstring injury is not as serious as first believed.
Head coach Regis Le Bris confirmed that Brobbey will miss the upcoming match against Brighton but is optimistic about a swift recovery. Brobbey had recently scored a hat-trick before sustaining the injury during an international match with the Netherlands.
Le Bris also mentioned that Senegal midfielder Habib Diarra, who is dealing with a similar injury, is close to returning. Meanwhile, Dan Ballard is expected to be sidelined for several weeks due to an injury sustained during the international break.
