Super Netball Players Secure One-Year Collective Agreement for 2027
Australia's Super Netball players have finalized a 12-month collective players agreement for the 2027 season, resolving a prolonged pay dispute. This agreement was reached between Netball Australia, Super Netball clubs, and the Australian Netball Players' Association.
The new deal provides players with enhanced pay, improved working conditions, and increased opportunities for individual sponsorships. With this agreement in place, clubs can now begin contracting players for the upcoming season.
Looking ahead, discussions will focus on establishing a longer-term agreement for 2028 and beyond, as the players' association seeks a revenue-sharing model and better parental leave policies. Netball Australia’s interim CEO emphasized the importance of this agreement in ensuring both immediate benefits for players and the sport's future growth.
