Swansea City Defeats Burnley 3-1 in Championship Match
Swansea City achieved a 3-1 victory against Burnley in a Sky Bet Championship match at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday. This win allowed Swansea to return to the automatic promotion spots, while Burnley, under new manager Nicky Hayen, fell to the bottom of the league.
Adam Idah opened the scoring for Swansea in the 14th minute, taking advantage of a mistake by Burnley goalkeeper Max Weiss. Moussa Yeo added a second goal in the 33rd minute after a solo run, marking his first goal for the club. Burnley managed to score in the 58th minute through Largie Ramazani, but Swansea responded quickly with a third goal from Zan Vipotnik just five minutes later.
Despite some promising chances, including a disallowed goal for Burnley late in the match, the Clarets could not overcome their deficit. This defeat marks Burnley's fourth loss in seven league games, leaving them still searching for their first win of the season.
