Swansea City Signs Ross Stewart, Plans for Three Strikers

Swansea City has added Ross Stewart to its roster, bringing the total number of international strikers to three, alongside Zan Vipotnik and Adam Idah. Stewart, a Scotland international, has signed a three-year contract with the club.

Vitor Matos, Swansea's head coach, clarified that Stewart's signing does not indicate a replacement for Vipotnik, who was the top scorer in the second tier last season. Matos expressed confidence in managing the squad's depth, emphasizing the importance of having multiple forwards as the team prepares for the upcoming Championship season.

While Vipotnik has attracted interest from other clubs, Swansea has yet to receive any formal offers. Idah, who is looking to make a stronger impact this season after recovering from injury, is expected to lead the attack in the opening match against Birmingham City, as Stewart has not participated in pre-season training.
