Swansea City to Sign Jeremy Monga on Loan from Manchester City
Swansea City is preparing to finalize the loan acquisition of Jeremy Monga from Manchester City, allowing Leo Walta to depart on loan to Los Angeles. Monga, a 17-year-old winger, is expected to travel to Swansea for a medical examination ahead of the transfer deadline on Tuesday at 23:00 BST.
Walta was not included in the squad for Swansea's recent 3-0 victory against Derby County and has been confirmed to join Major League Soccer. Monga, who previously played for Leicester City, made his senior debut at the age of 15 and scored 30 times in the Championship last season before signing with Manchester City.
Swansea has already strengthened its squad this summer with several new signings, including Elijah Just and Moussa Yeo. The team remains unbeaten in the league and will face Watford next at the Swansea.com Stadium.
