Swerve Strickland recently expressed his thoughts on NXT wrestler Myka Lockwood's execution of her signature move, which incorporates a double pumphandle into a falling powerslam. This commentary followed a fan's video that highlighted similarities to Strickland's own version of the move.

In a post on X, Strickland referred to the technique as the hand clutch setup, a variation he noted was inspired by Shane Mercer and is more challenging than his powerbomb version. He commended Lockwood for her flawless execution of the move.

Lockwood, who debuted in NXT in April, previously appeared on WWE Legends & Future Greats with The Undertaker as her mentor. Recently, she gained attention on social media after powerbombing CM Punk during an NXT live event.
