Swerve Strickland Credits Kofi as Inspiration for AEW Success

Swerve Strickland has identified Kofi as a significant source of inspiration for his achievements in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), including winning the AEW World Championship and headlining the 2024 All In event at Wembley Stadium.

After leaving WWE a few years ago, Strickland quickly rose through the ranks in AEW. He has credited Kofi's impact on his career, noting that watching Kofi's WrestleMania moment motivated him to reach the main event stage as a champion.

Kofi Kingston, who joined WWE in 2006 and had a successful two-decade tenure, is recognized for his contributions to wrestling and his role in shaping the careers of newer talents. At AEW All In, Kofi and his partner Austin Creed debuted as The New Level, winning the AEW World Trios Championship alongside Strickland.
