Swerve Strickland Returns to AEW, Confronts Adam Page

Swerve Strickland made his return to AEW television on August 12 during AEW Dynamite, reigniting his rivalry with Adam Page and complicating the AEW World Trios Championship scenario.

Strickland, who had been absent since losing to Will Ospreay in June, interrupted a promo featuring Page, Brody King, and Bandido. He mocked the trio, highlighting their shared history of conflict with him. Page responded, emphasizing that despite his efforts this year, he had achieved little.

The confrontation escalated when Ricochet, accompanied by several wrestlers, intervened, urging Strickland to leave. Although Strickland and his ally Prince Nana retreated, Strickland managed to deliver a final insult to Ricochet. The segment also set the stage for Page, Bandido, and King to defend the AEW World Trios Championship against The Demand in an upcoming match.
