Swerve Strickland Teams Up with Kofi and Austin Creed in AEW

Swerve Strickland has revealed insights into his collaboration with Kofi and Austin Creed, who debuted as the New Level in AEW during the All In event. The trio went on to capture the AEW World Trios Championships shortly after their debut.

In an interview, Strickland shared how he learned about Kofi and Creed's contract situation and the creative direction for their storyline. He expressed surprise at the news and emphasized the need for a fresh approach rather than revisiting past dynamics. Strickland noted that he wanted their partnership to feel new and unexpected.

Strickland acknowledged that while he cannot replace Big E, he aims to create something innovative with the New Level. The trio successfully defended their titles on the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, marking a promising start for their partnership.
