Tamil Nadu Begins Ranji Trophy Campaign Against Rajasthan

Tamil Nadu's cricket team is set to start its Ranji Trophy campaign against Rajasthan at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This match marks the beginning of a new season for the two-time champions, who are looking to improve their performance under the guidance of new coach Yo Mahesh.

The team received a significant boost with the inclusion of India all-rounder Washington Sundar ahead of the match. Coach Mahesh emphasized the need for stability, stating that frequent changes in the lineup had hindered the team's progress in recent years. He expressed confidence in the talent available and the importance of creating a secure environment for players to thrive.

Despite the optimism, the pace attack remains inexperienced, with Sonu Yadav being the most seasoned player in that department. Mahesh acknowledged the potential of younger bowlers coming through the ranks, indicating a long-term vision for the team's development.
