Tamil Nadu Reveals 30 Probables for Upcoming Ranji Trophy Season

The Tamil Nadu senior selection committee has unveiled a list of 30 players who are in contention for the Ranji Trophy, with a pre-season camp planned in Chennai from September 3 to 25.

Among the notable selections is rookie pacer D. Deepesh, who previously contributed to India's under-19 World Cup victory. Meanwhile, R.S. Ambrish, another under-19 player who debuted in First Class cricket last year, has been included in the under-23 squad for the BCCI Col. CK. Nayudu Trophy, which will feature 25 players and run from September 3 to 18.

The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has also added players to the developmental squads, focusing on nurturing emerging talent, particularly fast bowlers. Additionally, a player recently scrutinized by the BCCI's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit has been included in the Ranji probables after receiving a fine for a breach of regulations.
