Tampa Bay Rays Secure Dramatic Game 4 Win in World Series
The Tampa Bay Rays triumphed over the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday night, winning 4-3 after 12 innings at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. This victory reduced Milwaukee's series lead to 3-1.
In a tense game that was tied 2-2 after regulation, the Brewers appeared to secure the win with a home run from rookie Cooper Pratt in the top of the 12th. However, the Rays responded dramatically in the bottom of the inning.
Junior Caminero reached base due to an error by Brewers third baseman Joey Ortiz, followed by singles from Liam Hicks and Jonny DeLuca, leveling the score at 3-3. Rays outfielder Chandler Simpson then made a crucial hit after initially attempting to bunt, setting up Ben Williamson to deliver the game-winning hit against pitcher Shane Drohan. The Rays will aim to continue their comeback in Game 5 on Wednesday.
