Tank Dell Returns to Full Practice for Texans After Injury

Tank Dell, a wide receiver for the Texans, has returned to full practice for the first time since suffering a severe knee injury during a game against the Chiefs on December 21, 2024. He missed the entire 2025 season and the beginning of the current season due to this injury.

General Manager Nick Caserio indicated that Dell could make his return to the field either this week or next, provided there are no setbacks. The Texans had opened Dell's 21-day return-to-practice window on October 5.

Before his injury, Dell, a third-round pick in 2023, had impressive statistics, recording 98 receptions for 1,376 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first 25 games. Meanwhile, the Texans practiced without several players, including linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair and safety Jalen Pitre, while linebacker Wade Woodaz participated fully.
