Tanvi Sharma, at just 17 years and 222 days, made history by becoming the youngest champion of the Taipei Open, a title previously held by Tai Tzu-ying. Her victory came after defeating Vietnam's Thuy Linh Nguyen with a score of 21-16, 21-16, securing her first BWF World Tour Super 300 title.

Throughout the tournament, Tanvi showcased her exceptional skills, defeating notable opponents including compatriot Tasnim Mir and fourth seed Supanida Katethong. In the semifinals, she delivered a commanding performance against local favorite Huang Yu-Hsun, winning decisively.
