Taylah Preston and Daria Kasatkina Exit US Open in Second Round
Aussie tennis players Taylah Preston and Daria Kasatkina have both exited the US Open during the second round. Preston lost to American Taylor Townsend in a quick match that ended 6-1, 6-1, taking just 48 minutes.
Kasatkina faced Spaniard Paula Badosa and showed more resilience, battling through a match that was interrupted by rain. After resuming play, she saved multiple match points but ultimately lost, allowing Badosa to advance to face Coco Gauff in the next round.
Meanwhile, Alex de Minaur's first-round match was delayed again due to rain, adding to the scheduling challenges at the tournament. He managed to take an early lead against Andrea Guerrieri before the rain forced him off the court once more.
