Taylor Rapp Released by Broncos, Expected to Re-sign

The Denver Broncos released veteran safety Taylor Rapp on Wednesday, just weeks after signing him on August 20.

Coach Sean Payton indicated that Rapp is likely to return to the team soon, noting that he needs some time at home. Payton expressed optimism about Rapp's potential re-signing, stating that there is a better than good chance it will happen.

Rapp, 28, previously played for the Buffalo Bills for three seasons, although he was limited to six games last year due to a knee injury. A second-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams in 2019, he has participated in 93 games throughout his career, recording 12 interceptions and 31 passes defensed.
