Tayyab Tahir Joins Nottinghamshire for One-Day Cup
Nottinghamshire has secured the services of Pakistani white-ball international batter Tayyab Tahir for their next three fixtures in the One-Day Cup.
The 33-year-old, who also bowls leg-spin, previously played under Nottinghamshire's 50-over head coach Paul Franks while with Central Punjab four years ago. He has represented Pakistan in 11 One Day Internationals and eight T20 matches.
Tahir will fill the spot of opener George Munsey, who is currently on international duty with Scotland. He is set to make his debut for the county in a Group A match against Kent at Beckenham on Sunday, with additional matches scheduled against Northamptonshire and Gloucestershire later in the week.
