Tennessee Titans Release Quarterback Will Levis

The Tennessee Titans have released quarterback Will Levis as part of their roster cuts to finalize the team at 53 players. This decision confirms Mitchell Trubisky's position as the primary backup to Cam Ward.

Levis was drafted by the Titans in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft and initially showed potential, throwing for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions in his rookie season. However, he struggled in the 2024 season, finishing with a 2-10 record in 12 starts, 2,091 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, along with six fumbles.

After the Titans secured the first overall pick in the 2025 draft, they selected Ward, while Levis underwent season-ending shoulder surgery in July 2025. In the current preseason, Levis completed 53.8% of his passes for 200 yards across three games.
