Tennessee Volunteers to Honor Dolly Parton with Helmet Sticker

The Tennessee Volunteers will honor the late Dolly Parton with a helmet sticker during the upcoming season, as stated by coach Josh Heupel on Monday.

Parton, a native of Tennessee, passed away on August 25 at the age of 80 after a brief battle with cancer. Heupel acknowledged her significant impact on the community and her pride in her East Tennessee roots.

The sticker, designed in the Volunteers' signature orange, features a butterfly reminiscent of the Dollywood logo, with 'Dolly' inscribed in white. The Volunteers, currently ranked No. 20 in the AP Top 25 pre-season poll, will debut the sticker in their season opener against Furman on Saturday.
