Tension Reported Between Joe Buck and Troy Aikman Amid Contract Changes

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, long-time partners in broadcasting, are reportedly facing tension in their relationship, as noted by Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports.

This situation arises following Buck's recent five-year contract with ESPN/ABC, while Aikman has yet to secure a new deal. During a Monday night game between the Bills and Rams, Buck addressed the issue, leading to a brief argument between the two, although the broadcast itself showed no signs of conflict.

The developments suggest that ESPN/ABC may consider replacing Aikman after the current season, especially given Buck's willingness to finalize his contract independently of Aikman's situation.
