Terrion Arnold Visits Giants After Lions Release

Free agent cornerback Terrion Arnold is visiting the New York Giants after being released by the Detroit Lions on June 29. This visit follows his recent meetings with the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints, as well as a prior visit to the Houston Texans.

Arnold's professional career has been overshadowed by legal issues, as he faces four felony counts of armed robbery and kidnapping stemming from an arrest in Florida on June 24. He is scheduled for an arraignment hearing later this week, and a conviction could result in a life sentence.

The Lions selected Arnold in the first round of the 2024 draft. Over two seasons, he played 24 games, starting in 22, and recorded 91 tackles, one interception, and 18 pass breakups.
