Terrion Arnold Works Out with Seahawks Amid Legal Troubles

Terrion Arnold, a free-agent cornerback, had a workout with the Seattle Seahawks as he aims to resolve his legal issues and find a new team in the NFL. This meeting follows his release from the Detroit Lions, where he was a first-round draft pick in 2024.

Arnold has faced significant legal challenges, including eight felony counts related to serious offenses. Although he has posted bond and is eligible to sign with any team, he is scheduled for an arraignment hearing on August 13 in Tampa. His legal situation has made teams hesitant to commit to him, despite ongoing interest from several franchises, including the Houston Texans.

Prior to his release, Arnold had two seasons with the Lions, marked by inconsistent performance and an injury that sidelined him for the latter part of the 2025 season. The Seahawks, who already have a solid cornerback lineup, are exploring options due to an injury to third-round pick Julian Neal, which may have prompted their interest in Arnold.
