Terry McLaurin to Miss Remainder of Season Due to Knee Injury
Terry McLaurin, a wide receiver for the Washington Commanders, sustained a serious knee injury during Monday night's game against the 49ers, which has been confirmed as a torn patellar tendon by head coach Dan Quinn.
The injury will require McLaurin to have surgery, and he will not return for the remainder of the season. Prior to the injury, he recorded a 27-yard catch and had accumulated 15 receptions for 230 yards and one touchdown over five games this season.
McLaurin had previously missed seven games last season due to a quad injury but had been active for every game in the four seasons before that. He is under contract with the Commanders for two more years, although his future with the team may be influenced by potential offseason changes, especially following a challenging start to the season with a record of 1-4-1.
