Tessa Blanchard Signs with MLW After Leaving TNA
Former TNA star Tessa Blanchard has signed with Major League Wrestling (MLW) after her departure from TNA a few months ago. She announced her new role during an interview with TMZ's 'Inside the Ring' podcast, stating her excitement about joining the promotion.
Blanchard plans to make an immediate impact by challenging for the MLW Women's World Championship, currently held by Shotzi Blackheart. She expressed her ambition to become a leading figure in the MLW women's division. This move allows her to continue her work with CMLL in Mexico, thanks to MLW's partnership with the organization.
This will mark Blanchard's first appearance in MLW, following a tumultuous career that included accusations of racist remarks in 2020 and a subsequent release from TNA. Although she has not publicly apologized for the past incident, she reconciled with La Rosa Negra in 2023.
