Texans Acquire Marvin Harrison Jr. from Cardinals in Trade
The Houston Texans have confirmed the acquisition of wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. from the Arizona Cardinals, as announced by Texans coach DeMeco Ryans at a news conference on Sunday.
The trade, which will be finalized pending Harrison's physical, involves the Cardinals receiving a second-round pick and a seventh-round pick in 2027, originally from the 49ers, in exchange for Harrison and a sixth-round pick in 2027.
General Manager Monti Ossenfort commented on the trade, stating that such decisions are challenging but necessary for the team's future. Harrison, selected fourth overall in the 2024 draft, has played 33 games for the Cardinals, recording 108 receptions for 1,578 yards and 13 touchdowns during his tenure.
