Texans DE Dylan Horton Faces Long Recovery After Achilles Injury
Dylan Horton, a defensive end for the Houston Texans, is anticipated to be sidelined for the entire 2026 season following an Achilles injury incurred during practice on Monday.
Reports indicate that Horton tore his Achilles during the team's workout. He joined the Texans after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Previously, Horton faced health challenges, missing the conclusion of his rookie season and the beginning of the 2024 season due to lymphoma, from which he has been in remission since March 2024. Throughout his career with the Texans, he has participated in 39 regular season games, recording 55 tackles, one-half sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery, along with two tackles in four playoff appearances.
