Texans Place WR DJ Turner on Injured Reserve
The Houston Texans have confirmed the signing of defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who practiced with the team on Tuesday. In a related decision, wide receiver DJ Turner has been placed on injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury, effectively ending his season.
Turner, who joined the Texans on July 29, had participated in practice on Monday prior to the announcement. The 29-year-old previously played four seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, where he appeared in 32 games, recording 16 receptions for 158 yards and one touchdown. He also contributed on special teams, accumulating 416 snaps in that role throughout his career.
In the 2025 season, Turner was limited to just four special teams snaps and did not play on defense during one game.
