Texans Promote QB Mark Gronowski to Active Roster

The Houston Texans have signed quarterback Mark Gronowski to their active roster as of Wednesday.

Gronowski was promoted from the practice squad, where he had been since September after a brief stint with the Dolphins following his undrafted status from Iowa. The team had an available roster spot, allowing for his addition without further moves.

Before joining the Texans, Gronowski had a successful college career at South Dakota State, where he led the team to two FCS national championships and received the Walter Payton Award in 2023 as the top player in the FCS.
