TGL Announces Rosters for 2027 Season with New Additions

The upcoming 2027 season of TGL will introduce a larger roster and more teams than in previous seasons of the simulator golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. Both founders will return, but the teams will see significant changes as new talent joins while some veterans depart.

This season, teams will expand from four to five players. Notable departures include Kevin Kisner, Xander Schauffele, Adam Scott, and Lucas Glover. They will be replaced by younger players such as Michael Brennan, Ben James, Blades Brown, and Jackson Koivun, who recently joined Brooks Koepka's Motor City Golf Club.

Koivun's team has also added Si Woo Kim, Bud Cauley, and Jake Knapp. Other newcomers include Alex Fitzpatrick, who will play alongside his brother Matt at the New York Golf Club, and Ben Griffin. James will join the defending champions, LAGC, while Brown will play for The Bay Golf Club. Additionally, Shane Lowry's trade to Boston Common and Michael Thorbjornsen's inclusion were confirmed. The season is set to begin on December 27.
