The Miz Reflects on His WrestleMania 27 Main Event Experience

The Miz recently reflected on his experience at WWE WrestleMania XXVII, where he made his debut in the main event as the WWE Champion against John Cena. The match, which took place in front of 65,000 fans at the Georgia Dome, was notable for the involvement of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who helped set up a future match at WrestleMania XXVIII.

Despite the significance of the event in his career, Miz expressed mixed feelings about the match. He recalled his surprise at being told he would have pyro for the entrance, something he had not experienced before. However, the night took a turn when he suffered a concussion after a spear onto concrete, which he described as an uncomfortable memory. Although he finished the match with assistance from Cena, The Rock, and referee Mike Chioda, he admitted that he does not enjoy watching it.

Miz acknowledged that while he often gets asked about his favorite matches, he finds it difficult to fully embrace WrestleMania XXVII due to the circumstances surrounding it, despite recognizing the honor of headlining such a prestigious event.
