The Undertaker Discusses Memory Loss After WrestleMania 30 Match
Mark Calaway, known as The Undertaker, experienced temporary amnesia after suffering a concussion during his WrestleMania 30 match against Brock Lesnar in 2014. This match marked the end of his iconic winning streak at the event.
Calaway reported that he did not remember the match and was taken to the hospital shortly after it concluded. He recalled that his memory began to return around 4 or 5 in the morning, during which he struggled to recognize his surroundings and could only identify a couple of people, including Michelle McCool and Vince McMahon.
As he recovered, Calaway faced self-doubt about his ability to continue wrestling, reflecting on the challenges of being in the later stages of his career. He noted that he relied on instinct to finish the match, despite not being able to pinpoint the exact moment he sustained the concussion.
