Third Woman Engages Legal Representation in Sydney Swans Scandal
A third woman has engaged a lawyer regarding her involvement in the Sydney Swans sexual assault scandal, with discussions of a possible civil lawsuit underway. Her legal representative, Jackson Pannam, confirmed that she contacted police immediately after the alleged incident at the Pullman Hotel in East Melbourne on August 17.
On the same day, Carbone Lawyers announced they are representing two other women, believed to be adult entertainers, who are also considering civil claims related to the incident. Following the Swans' victory over Essendon, several adult entertainers reportedly joined players at the hotel.
Five players from the Swans have been suspended for violating club standards regarding drinking and curfew. Pannam noted that his client is cooperating with the ongoing police investigation, which has yet to result in any arrests or charges.
