Thomas Chabot Returns to Senators Lineup Against Kings

Thomas Chabot is making his return to the Ottawa Senators' lineup for the game against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, as confirmed by head coach Travis Green after the morning skate.

Chabot has been out since sustaining an upper-body injury during a match against the Philadelphia Flyers on October 18. In his absence, fellow defenseman Carter Yakemchuk will be a healthy scratch, and Warren Foegele will be unavailable for an extended period following an injury sustained in a game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Chabot, who has recorded one goal and three assists in the first nine games of the season, was appointed as the Senators' captain earlier this season, becoming the first francophone to hold the position in the team's history. Foegele, who has also contributed one goal and three assists this season, was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings at last season's trade deadline. Additionally, goalie Jonas Johansson will start in net for the Senators.
