Three Defendants in Penn State Drug Trafficking Case Move to Trial
Three defendants linked to an alleged drug trafficking operation at Penn State waived their preliminary hearings at the Centre County Courthouse and are now proceeding to trial.
Kaden Howe, Daniel Price, and Connor Hurleigh are charged with misdemeanor counts of drug possession and paraphernalia, following the indictment of 13 current and former students connected to a cocaine distribution network operating from two off-campus fraternity houses.
Howe reportedly purchased cocaine from Mohammed Huraibi, a member of Delta Upsilon, while Hurleigh allegedly obtained cocaine from Thomas Robinson, one of the operation's alleged ringleaders. The defendants have been released on their own recognizance and must adhere to court conditions, including attending all scheduled court dates. The next pretrial conference is set for January 11.
