Three Former MLB Players Enter Minor League Free Agency
Three former Major League Baseball players have recently entered minor league free agency, aiming for another chance in the majors next season.
Among them is Lawrence, who had a challenging season after initially showing promise with a 0.51 ERA in limited innings for the Pirates. However, he struggled with a 7.34 ERA across three teams this year. Kranick, recovering from flexor tendon surgery, faced difficulties with the Nationals, leading to his outright release after a disappointing performance. Candelario, who previously had a successful season in 2023, was released by the Reds after underperforming and spent the latter part of the season in Triple-A.
These players are now looking for new opportunities as they navigate the free agency landscape.
