Tiger Woods to Appear in Court Following DUI Arrest
Tiger Woods is scheduled to appear in court on September 8 for the first time since his DUI arrest and rollover crash in late March. His legal proceedings have been delayed multiple times due to ongoing discovery in South Florida.
Woods' attorney has managed all hearings since he waived his arraignment and requested a jury trial. The delays have been largely attributed to prosecutors seeking access to his prescription and hospital records, with the most recent hearing occurring on August 4.
After entering a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland in April, Woods returned to the U.S. in June and has maintained a low profile, making only one public appearance since then. He has been supportive of his girlfriend, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Woods is also expected to attend the Nexus Cup charity event on September 14, although his attendance remains uncertain.
